Learning resources for JPOs
UNDP offers a wide range of learning opportunities to all staff members, including JPOs.
As a JPO, you have been allocated a budget (Duty Travel and Training Allowance) to support your learning during your JPO assignment (the amount of the allocation is donor-specific). You should use the DTTA available for your learning strategically and in support of your performance and professional development.
To learn more about the DTTA click here.
In addition, all new UNDP JPOs participate in the UNDP Programme, Policies and Operations (PPO) Induction Workshop organized by the Learning Resource Centre in New York several times annually. JPOs will be invited to the course within the first 4-6 months of their assignment.
To learn more about the PPO workshop click here.
Furthermore, a core and optional learning curricula for JPOs has been developed to support your skills over time and in support of your longer term career development.
