2008 JPO Questionnaire

Thank you for participating in the 2008 JPO Survey.

Yearly questionnaires are vital to ensure that the JPO Service Centre (JPOSC) is kept abreast of all the major developments that have a bearing on the performance and well-being of the JPOs, as well as to solicit feedback regarding the recent track record of the JPOSC itself.

It is also an opportunity for you to make your voice heard as the JPOSC reports the findings of this survey to its stakeholders, donors and organizations.

The survey is divided into seven sections, labelled as follows:

  • Recruitment and entry on duty procedures (17 questions) (for JPOs who have been recruited less than one year ago);
  • Your assignment (11 questions);
  • Training and learning (8 questions);
  • Administrative follow-up (9 questions);
  • Harassment (10 questions);
  • JPO information needs (7 questions);
  • Career development (8 questions);
  • General comments and feedback (1 question).

Please base your answers in this questionnaire on your experiences over the past 12 months.

Confidentiality

Be assured that all replies are treated with the strictest confidentiality.

The survey is meant to provide the JPOSC, its management and stakeholders with trends. All elements of identification (nationality, place of assignment, name when mentioned in the answers) will be rendered anonymous before the data is analyzed.

Should you have any question or concern about the information, please do not hesitate to contact Fleur Vernat, Public Relations Officer at the JPOSC.
