The first Regional JPO Workshop (hosted by the Kenya Country Office) took place in Nairobi, 27-31 May 2002. 31 JPOs working for UNCDF, UNDP, UNFPA and UNOPS chose to participate. 20 resource persons, representing the UN System and bilateral agencies, among whom there were several former JPOs, facilitated the sessions and made various presentations (available online).
