The JPO Service Centre website:
the crossroads for current and former JPOs
The present website aims at becoming a platform facilitating information and knowledge sharing among current as well as former JPOs.
To achieve these goals, several tools are being proposed, as follows:
- the directory of current JPOs allows to view JPOs by sector of activity, agency, duty station or donor. It is a key instrument for thematic networking;

- the directory of current SARCs (Special Assistants to the Resident Coordinator) allows to view SARCs by duty station or donor. It is a key instrument for thematic networking;
- the directory of former JPOs now groups 2603 former JPOs that participated in the Programme since its creation in the mid-sixties. It shows the importance of the Programme to the donors, the recipient countries and the UN System. (Please note that no private information such as e-mail addresses or telephone numbers will be provided by the JPO Service Centre without the express consent of the person concerned);

- the directory of former JPOs / current UN staff groups 666 names, that can be sorted by nationality, grade, current agency, current duty station and current title. Business e-mail addresses are also provided.
