Announcements
There are currently no new vacancies for UNDP JPO positions financed by Ireland. Vacancies are announced once every second year by Irish Aid.
For the last recruitment cycle (2004) vacancies were announced in September.

Requirements
To be eligible to apply to the Irish JPO Programme, candidates must:
- Be no more than 32 of age
- Hold a post-graduate degree
- Have written and spoken proficiency in at least two of the three working languages used by the UN: English, French and Spanish
- Have excellent information technology skills, including word-processing, database applications, presentation software and Internet
- Have at least three years' relevant experience in the field of development
- Be an Irish citizen or be entitled to Irish citizenship.
