The Norwegian JPO Programme in numbers

Requirements

To be eligible to apply to the Norwegian JPO Programme, candidates must:

  • Hold Norwegian citizenship
  • Hold a post graduate degree
  • Have practical experience in the relevant area
  • Have fluency in English and in the language spoken in the country of assignment.

To be eligible to apply to the Norwegian SARC Programme, candidates must:
  • Hold Norwegian citizenship
  • Qualifications: Higher University Degree/Master;
  • Experience: at least 5 years of relevant work experience - Preferably experience from UN system or other international development assistance;
  • Language: Fluency in English and Norwegian with excellent writing and spoken skills. Knowledge of other official UN language would be considered as an asset.
