Announcements

JPO and SARC Vacancies are usually announced throughout the calendar year on the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) website.

For further information on the number of JPOs financed by Sweden and administered by the JPOSC please refer to the Facts and Figures section.

To be eligible to apply to the Swedish JPO Programme, candidates must:

Be of Swedish nationality or hold a residence permit for Sweden
Be no more than 32 years of age
Hold a post graduate degree
Have 2-4 years of practical experience in the relevant area
Language: Fluency in English and Swedish with excellent writing and spoken skills. Knowledge of other official UN language would be considered as an asset.

To be eligible to apply to the Swedish SARC Programme, candidates must:

Be of Swedish nationality or hold a residence permit for Sweden
Qualifications: Higher University Degree/Master;
Experience: at least 5 years of relevant work experience - Preferably experience from UN system or other international development assistance;
Language: Fluency in English and Swedish with excellent writing and spoken skills. Knowledge of other official UN language would be considered as an asset.
