The 264 JPOs currently participating in the programme are assigned to 98 duty stations, both at country level and in Headquarters locations:

• 85 in Africa
• 70 in Headquarters locations
• 52 in Asia and the Pacific
• 33 in Latin America & the Caribbean
• 13 in the Arab States
• 11 in Eastern Europe & the CIS

Duty Stations that have a need for a JPO must upload Terms of Reference on the Online Request system, where it will be checked by the JPO Service Centre and prioritized by the relevant Regional Bureau.

Donors have a "live" access to the Request system: they select online the JPO posts based on the Terms of Reference and according to their thematic and geographic priorities
