The JPO Service Centre currently administers 320 JPOs. They are assigned to 97 duty stations, both at country level and in Headquarters locations:

  • 82 in Africa
  • 37 in the Arab States
  • 54 in Asia and the Pacific
  • 10 in Eastern Europe & the CIS
  • 107 in Headquarters locations
  • 30 in Latin America & the Caribbean
The Duty Stations that have a need for a JPO from UNDP and its affiliated funds/programmes must upload Terms of Reference on the Online Request system, where it will be checked by the JPO Service Centre and prioritized by the relevant Regional Bureau.

Donors have a "live" access to the Request system: they select online the JPO posts based on the Terms of Reference and according to their thematic and geographic priorities
