Welcome New Colleagues on Board! We are pleased to welcome four new full-time members of the JPOSC team.
Maria Segovia Aguirre joined the JPOSC under the JPO Programme as HR Analyst. She will be working among others on the JPO career development programme and mentoring programme. Furthermore, she will be responsible for the JPO network and the JPO Facebook group. Maria has 7 years of Human Resources experience, both in the private and NGO sectors, in generalist positions, in Europe as well as in Africa, where she has spent the last 3 years. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources.
Pierre Noël also recently joined the JPOSC as Communications Associate. He is mainly maintaining the Website of the JPOSC, www.jposc.org , and editing, reviewing or providing translation services from English to French and Spanish. Pierre has 6 years of experience in the NGOs and private sectors in the areas of Communication in different European countries, Mexico and West Indies. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in International Relations and Development Studies.
Svjetlana Tafro joined the JPOSC on the 18th of January 2010 as Human Resources Associate. She is working on separations for JPOs, as well as, separation of sensitive and complex cases for Benefits and Entitlements in SAS. Svjetlana has 17 years of experience with the United Nations, working both in UNHCR and UNDP offices, in managerial and general positions in the Administration, Human Resources and Finance in Europe, United States and Asia. She facilitated the establishment of the Benefits & Entitlements (BES) Unit in Copenhagen, as well as UNDP Country Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
Yasmina Rais El Fenni joined the JPOSC on the 15th of February, as Human Resources Assistant. She is working primarily with UNDP portfolios, as well as supporting the rest of the team. Yasmina holds a BA in International Relations and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. She has previously worked with the Learning and Development unit in UNOPS in Copenhagen for 8 months, in the Gender Responsive Budgeting unit in UNIFEM in New York for 3 months and in Human Resources Maersk in Morocco for 7 months.
Finally, Marcos Martinez has left the team to take up an assignment with UNV in Sudan.
