UNRWA was pleased to advertise a JPO position to be funded by the Government of The Netherlands.

The following position was open exclusively to Dutch and other European Union nationals, as well as permanent residents of the Netherlands (see for criteria the website of the Dutch  Ministry of Foreign Affairs):

  • The deadline for receipt of application for the UNRWA position in Jerusalem was 12 midday (Copenhagen time) on Wednesday 20 April 2011.

Conditions

Duration of Assignment: Initially one year with the possibility to extend up to 3 years.

Grade/Step: P1 step I or P2 step I the first year, depending on the level of education and experience

All Candidates must:

  • Have completed a study relevant to marketing, communication, campaign management, fundraising, journalism, development studies or similar concluding in a university degree at Master's degree or equivalent; or a study relevant to marketing, communication, campaign management, fundraising, journalism, development studies or similar concluding in a degree at B.Sc./B.A. level, followed by a minimum of three years of working experience;
  • Be committed to the UN values, highly motivated, professional, have good interpersonal skills and be able to adapt to a multi-cultural environment;
  • Be fluent in English and possess a working knowledge of at least one other UN language or be fluent in both English and the working language at the duty station as appropriate. Fluency in other UN languages can be an asset and may be tested in the interview along with English;

Novembre 2010

UNDP and affiliated funds/programmes were pleased to advertise three JPO positions to be funded by the Government of the Netherlands.

The following two positions in UNDP Kosovo, UN Administered Territory and UNDP Indonesia were open to Dutch and other EU nationals, as well as permanent residents of the Netherlands.

The following position with UNDP New York was addressed exclusively to candidates from developing countries (see criteria at the website of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

Timeline

  • The deadline for receipt of applications was 12 midday (Copenhagen time) on Friday 19 November 2010 .
    Applications received after this deadline would not be considered. In view of the volume of applications, only candidates being invited to an interview will be contacted.
Interviews were expected to take place early December 2010 by telephone or video conference. Only candidates short-listed for interview would be contacted.

READVERTISEMENT: The following UNDP/UNIFEM JPO position was reopened:

  • Skopje, Macedonia - Programme Analyst, Gender (UNIFEM) 

    • This position was first advertised in August 2009 but was not filled. New Candidates are encouraged to apply.

    Les candidats de nationalité néerlandaise et les résidents permanents aux Pays-Bas doivent avoir une bonne maîtrise de la langue hollandaise et ne peuvent postuler qu'aux seuls postes destinés aux candidats néerlandais ou résidents permanents des Pays-Bas.

    En plus des conditions générales détaillées ci-dessus, les candidats des pays en développement éligibles doivent remplir les suivantes :
