As of 1 February 2012, the JPO Service Centre administers 320 active JPOs. The gender ratio is currently 30% male and 70% female.

The JPO Service Centre also administers 39 Special Assistants to the UN Resident Coordinators (SARC). The Special Assistants Programme is implemented within the overall framework of the JPO scheme but aims at applicants with more experience for higher grade positions.
