As of 1 May 2013, the JPO Service Centre administers 257 active JPOs. The gender ratio is currently 27% male and 73% female.

The JPO Service Centre also administers 36 Special Assistants to the UN Resident Coordinators (SARC). The Special Assistants Programme is implemented within the overall framework of the JPO scheme but aims at applicants with more experience for higher grade positions.
