How to request a JPO?The JPO Service Centre has developed an online recruitment database to streamline the process of recruitment and placement of JPOs. Terms of Reference can now be completed and registered online. The JPO Service Centre will immediately check the contents of the Terms of Reference and if no clarification is required, the Terms of Reference will be made available to the relevant Regional Bureau for validation and prioritization.
Are you a Duty Station? All Duty Stations can view the status of their request at any given time. Since all donors also have access to this system, they are able to view what JPO positions are available for funding, as soon as the respective Regional Bureau has endorsed the relevant Terms of Reference. An explanatory user manual for duty stations is available in English, French and Spanish. To apply to become a registered user, or if you have forgotten your password, please e-mail the administrator. For more information, please consult our Duty Station section.
Are you a Donor? All the donors have online access to the database and are able to view the data with regard to the current distribution of JPOs as well as all the JPO vacancies available for funding, as soon as the ToRs have been prioritized and validated by the respective Regional Bureau. As a donor you can view the ToR and the related organigramme of each duty station by clicking on the post that you're interested in. Once you have decided which posts your Government wishes to sponsor, kindly let us know by e-mail or other means. We will then earmark these posts for your Government's or your organisation's sponsorship. For obvious reasons, we may not be able to "reserve" the posts for you in the event that you only express preliminary interest as opposed to the firm commitment to fund. An explanatory user manual for donors is available in English, French and Spanish. To apply to become a registered user, or if you have forgotten your password, please e-mail the administrator. For more information, please consult our Donor section.
