Launch of the MDG Monitor
A collaboration between several UN agencies, Cisco and Google, MDG Monitor is a web site which provides consolidated data on where the world stands in the fight against poverty, at the mid-point towards the achievement of the MDGs. It also allows to use Google Earth to fly anywhere on the planet and explore from above, in three dimensions, the places where work is being done to realize the MDGs.

SARC Programme
Initiated in 2003 as pilot, the Special Assistant to the Resident Coordinator (SARC) Programme is implemented within the framework of UNDP's JPO Programme. Funded by Denmark and Sweden, SARC are now assigned in 10 countries, aiming at strengthening the Resident Coordinator function.
From Tanzania to UNDGO Associate Director, the journey of a former JPO Inyang Ebong-Harstrup was a Canadian JPO with UNDP in Tanzania (1990-1992). She is now the Associate Director of the United Nations Development Group Office in New York.
